Efacec has strengthened its presence in the Portuguese electric mobility market by signing a new contract with EDP Comercial for the supply of 200 charging points, to be delivered in 2024 and 2025.
This contract will enable EDP to supply solutions for various locations in the country, in particular for the agreement between EDP Comercial and the ALDI Group, under which Efacec was selected to supply 82 fast electric chargers from the Quick Charging modular range with power ratings of 60 and 120 kW.
The QC60 and QC120 fast chargers are two solutions developed entirely in-house by the company, standing out for their high availability, fast charging capacity and the possibility of charging three vehicles simultaneously.
These solutions, as with all Efacec’s range of electric chargers, can be integrated with the Load Management System (LMS), also developed by the company. This tool allows operators to intelligently coordinate the growth of electric vehicles and the electric charging infrastructure.
In a highly competitive market, the contract now signed underlines one of the main competitive advantages of the solution provided – responsiveness in assisting customers in the European market.
Efacec is a pioneer in the electric mobility sector, with thousands of electric chargers installed around the world, especially in the European market and the United States.
