Efacec has participated in Amper, the largest energy fair in Czech Republic, since March 19th to 22th. During this event the company focused on Medium Voltage Switchgear and also displayed its solutions for Electric Mobility. This fair was dedicated to an audience specialized in the areas of electrotechnology, automation, energy, communications and security technologies.
During the Amper 2019 participation, Efacec consolidated its position as a global player in the Medium Voltage area, a segment where it is recognized for customized and flexible solutions that intend to fulfill each customer needs. The Normacel primary distribution equipment and Fluofix and Normafix secondary distribution equipment were available in the Efacec’s stand.
Besides its consolidated product portfolio for Energy and Environment Solutions, Efacec is also a world leader in the production of fast and ultra-fast chargers for electric vehicles. The company continues to focus on the development of this business unit and intends to achieve a turnover growth to coming close of around 100 million euro in the next years. One year after the inauguration of the new facilities dedicated to Electric Mobility, this business unit turnover grew up about 100% and multiplied by three the production capacity of EV chargers.
The EV charger QC45S Featured was displayed on the company’s stand, a fast charger for electric vehicles compatible with CCS. Easy to use, this compact fast charging station charges an electric car to 80% in less than one hour with an efficiency rate of over 94%.
Located in Brno, Czech Republic, the 27th edition of Amper fair had about 600 exhibitors from 30 different countries received more than 40 thousand visitors. This event is the place chosen by the leading companies in the electrical industry to present their latest products.
Efacec has a strong presence in the Czech Republic, as well as in neighboring countries such as Poland, Bulgaria and Slovakia, and aims to extend its activity in Central Europe and this is why since 2018 the Portuguese company has given special attention to the renewal of its products certification, responding to the market needs.
